Metallica Version of Guitar Hero

Metallica have confirmed on the Metallica website that they will be getting their own Guitar Hero game.

The Metallica version follows the Aerosmith version of Guitar Hero, released in June.

It is likely be released in the first half of 2009. The use of famous settings from Metallica's career, including Moscow’s Tushino Airfield where the 1991 Monsters of Rock concert took place and new venues with "in the round" staging will add to the ambiance and energy of this awesome and popular band in the game.

Although the full list has not yet been announced there will be 28 Metallica songs in all. Guitar Hero: Metallica will also feature an "expert" difficulty level that employs two bass drum kick pedals, which will be a sure pull for the fans of Lars Ulrich.
